With ‘Tron Ares’ currently hitting cinemas the 1982 original – which at the time looked like a new departure for Disney but now seems charmingly old-fashioned – is worth another look.
The film that launched a thousand video games is perhaps a little short on story; but calling David Warner’s baddy ‘Dillinger’ displays a modicum of wit. @RichardChatten
